On December 2-3, the Arm AIoT Dev Summit will take place in Silicon Valley, bringing together hundreds of software/hardware developers, researchers, and industry leaders from around the world. The purpose? To promote collective intelligence in two technologies that will power our future: artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). The event, consisting of keynotes, workshops, and tech talks will be delivered by Arm and ecosystem partners including IoTeX, Google, AWS, Microsoft, and Arduino.

AIoT — the Artificial Intelligence of Things — and other emerging technologies, such as blockchain and trusted computing, are set to fundamentally change our tech stacks, our business models, and our daily lives. At this year’s Arm AIoT Dev Summit, companies at the forefront of AIoT innovation will showcase exciting new capabilities via hands-on workshops. One such company is IoTeX (iotex.io), a cutting-edge blockchain platform with a vision to power the Internet of Trusted Things.

End-to-End Security: Arm-Based Devices & IoTeX Blockchain

On Day 2 of the AIoT Dev Summit, IoTeX will deliver a 90-min workshop on achieving end-to-end security using Arm-based edge devices and IoTeX blockchain technology. The workshop will demonstrate how two technologies — secure hardware and blockchain — can form a trusted foundation to protect the integrity and confidentiality of our data and devices.

As an open source platform, IoTeX offers hardware- and software-based tools for developers to build next-gen solutions with full end-to-end security and trust. IoTeX’s latest Arm-based product, the Pebble Tracker, is a trusted tracker dev kit with built-in GPS, environmental sensors (e.g., temperature, humidity, air quality), motion sensors, and cellular IoT connectivity. Pebble Tracker is built around the nRF9160 System-in-Package (SiP), powered by Arm Cortex-M33 application processor, which is equipped with Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) based on ARM TrustZone and ARM CryptoCell 310 for application layer security. Workshop attendees will work directly with the Arm-based Pebble Tracker, as well as learn the fundamentals of how blockchain and secure hardware can enable end-to-end security.

The future work of integrating AIoT into our lives not only means building vastly smarter and more connected networks, but also guaranteeing the integrity and security of our data. We have the chance to create a radically efficient and trusted future — join IoTeX and Arm at the AIoT Dev Summit and learn how we can build the future Internet of Trusted Things.
