The IoTeX hackathon, powered by Lumos Labs, is well underway! We are excited to share some updates and developments we have seen so far.

There is already a great community of developers taking their creativity to the next level. IoTeX and Lumos Labs are hosting this hackathon to encourage developers to explore the potential of the IoT and DeFi space. In order to democratize IoT real-world data with blockchain technology, the IoTeX network ensures security and verifiability with its trusted data captured and stored on trusted devices.

We also received 50+ idea submissions covering innovative solutions across industries. From creating faster emergency transport services, to connecting rural farmers with urban supply chain resources, to encouraging athletes to meet up with other active individuals to play sports in their communities, these developers are proving the endless possibilities of tracking real-world data with Pebble and using them into Dapps.
