IoTeX has joined the Executive Committee of the China Mobile IoT Alliance, an invite-only network of 1,600+ enterprise members that include China’s leading IoT manufacturers, service providers, and distributors. As the only public blockchain in the Alliance, IoTeX will leverage our leadership role to introduce blockchain technology to the $350 billion China IoT industry. This appointment to the Executive Committee expands our active leadership roles in top enterprise consortiums like the IIC, IEEE, and CCC.
Over the past year, IoTeX has worked within the China IoT Mobile Alliance to develop new IoT solutions in blockchain-based facial recognition and supply chain finance, which are now open to all enterprise members. We are also interacting with members to explore how existing IoTeX products like Ucam, Pebble Tracker, and Pantheon can be applied in real world use cases.

The China Mobile IoT Alliance is jointly initiated by China Mobile, the world’s largest telecom company by subscribers, and global institutions engaged in Internet of Things (IoT) chips, modules, terminals, networks, platforms, applications, and other related industries. The Alliance was born under the principle of cooperative innovation and is a non-profit organization that prioritizes research and development, implementation, and industrialization of cutting-edge technologies like IoT, AI, and blockchain. Bringing IoTeX Technology to IoT Enterprises
As the only public blockchain in the China Mobile IoT Alliance, IoTeX is well-positioned to bring our technology to IoT enterprises — and we have already started. Over the past year, IoTeX has worked with Alliance members to ideate, prototype, and iterate upon innovative blockchain + IoT solutions. New Enterprise IoT Solutions by IoTeX
Blockchain + confidential computing facial recognition: IoTeX is developing an all-in-one 3D facial recognition machine based on blockchain and confidential computing to realize full protection of sensitive biometric data. This greatly improves privacy and data security for enterprises to enable trusted access control, including authorized entry to restricted spaces.
Supply chain finance and digital assets: IoTeX and a large domestic enterprise are jointly developing a blockchain-based financial platform to enhance the transparency of assets and credibility for enterprise supply chains. Financing via accounts receivable (A/R) is a bottleneck for supply chain participants, where tokenized assets can reduce friction and improve transparency.
Existing IoTeX Solutions Available to the Alliance
In addition to our new enterprise offerings, IoTeX is exploring how we can apply the underlying technologies of Ucam and Pebble Tracker in enterprise settings, orchestrated by our enterprise-ready consortium blockchain Pantheon. IoTeX will present our suite of IoT offerings in upcoming quarterly member meetings hosted by the China Mobile IoT Alliance.
What’s Next?
Building trust and gaining respect from enterprises is a long process that IoTeX takes extremely seriously. Due to the confidential nature of enterprise consortiums, the ‘behind-the-scenes’ work required to create real impact is often non-visible to the public until things are signed, sealed, and delivered. We are excited to finally share the fruits of our labor with you!
