WiFi Map is bringing internet access and lifestyle services to everybody, everywhere in a single super-app.
Challenges
Token liquidity is important for any crypto project, especially for DePINs (decentralized physical infrastructure networks) that use their tokens as incentives to build out their networks. WiFi Map grows and improves its app by issuing token incentives to motivate contributors to add new WiFi hotspots, refresh and speed test old ones, and as the in-app unit of exchange. WiFi Map was looking for more liquidity for their $WIFI token so that users and investors could more easily trade it.
How IoTeX Helps
IoTeX worked with WiFi Map to bring the $WIFI token over from Polygon via our native bridge (iotube), add it to our multi-chain wallet (iopay), and then create a liquidity pool on our DEX (mimo). In a little over a month, this pool has $52k+ of liquidity and $230k of trading volume.
