AI & Physical Intelligence

July was a fast track for IoTeX’s push into AI and Physical Intelligence, the convergence of real-world data, autonomous agents, and on-chain execution. From key advancements in Quicksilver to enabling the first autonomous multi-agent payments, the ecosystem is expanding its capabilities at pace, opening new possibilities for both developers and users.

Quicksilver & Unify

IoTeX’s Quicksilver framework (now in pre-alpha) hit a new peak of 1,700 daily requests, a 70% jump over June. Designed to help developers build AI agents powered by real-time, real-world data, Quicksilver uses a central orchestrator to route user queries to the most relevant agents and APIs. Underpinning its future growth, the team also designed the Unify Protocol, a universal layer for discovering, validating, and interacting with physical-world data sources, ensuring consistency and composability across AI applications.

ioPay + Agent Integrations

Quicksilver’s pre-alpha release provides the first experimental instance of a Realm—a dynamic knowledge base to power both internal and external applications. Internally, it drives integrations like binoAI in ioPay, letting users query on-chain data and interact with DePIN insights directly in their wallet. ioPay also rolled out a full visual redesign for a cleaner, more intuitive experience. Soon, internal tools like DePINscan will join, followed by external adopters such as the Caila and Nodey agents.

Payments & Multi-Agent Collaboration

IoTeX agents can now send and receive USDC for specialized data or tooling through the new x402-powered /message-paid endpoint. This capability was showcased in the first live multi-agent “swarm” collaboration, where Bino (DePIN) and Caila (weather) autonomously paid each other in micro-transactions of 0.001 USDC for out-of-domain requests — a milestone for autonomous, cross-specialization AI networks.

AI Ops

To make AI activity more transparent, the team replaced raw logs with LangFuse tracing, offering step-by-step visibility into agent decision-making. Public dashboards for Bino, Caila, and Nodey now allow anyone to monitor live performance metrics. On the community side, Bino began monitoring the IoTeX Discourse forum, flagging and hiding scam posts in real-time — an early example of AI-driven moderation.

New Integrations on the Horizon

Work also began on integrating Near Intents into IoTeX, paving the way for agents and applications to bundle user actions into trustless, cross-chain transaction flows.

"With stronger infrastructure, expanding global presence, and new technical capabilities coming online, we are entering a phase where ideas can move from concept to impact faster than ever. The next chapter will be defined by bold collaborations, real-world deployments, and an even greater role for our community in shaping the future of AI and Physical Intelligence." - Raullen Chai, CEO & Co-Founder of IoTeX
